I’d be curious to know if you’d find macOS shortcuts more intuitive and better feeling or not. I have a project called http://kinto.sh that helps linux users keep macOS like keymaps on their system. I am working on expanding its functionality fairly often. It’s one of the only, if not the only, apps designed to change your keyboard layout without intercepting your keypresses.. making it a bit faster and more reliable than other solutions you might find.
