I've done so much customization of VSCode it is basically Sublime Text 6.0 or something lol. Some of the things mentioned in this article I feel like I am already doing as well while it is still just an after thought for where Fleet can go.. VSCode is already very flexible and allows for all sorts of remote interactions and collaboration with it.

I have to say but after spending some months with it over a year ago now I became pretty happy with it, but it took me some weeks to really polish it up and round off the rough edges VSCode has - and it definitely has some rough edges in the UI department but it is manageable with some effort.
